Glendowie sports

For the last couple of weeks, we have been working with Glendowie College students to promote Healthy Active Learning. It’s been a lot of fun and we get to play and enjoy games and sports with our class mates.

Here is a photo from one of our sessions.

Star Dome Trip

Firstly at the Star Dome trip last week, we did the activity / scavenger hunt (We got 7/7). Then we went to the Dome to watch a movie for an hour. Then we went on the ride back on the bus. I liked the trip, it was pretty cool. The trip tied in well with our learning around Matariki.

Fun run Practise

Today Team Tui had fun run practise. Mr Victor encouraged us by saying to set ourselves a goal. Either  how much we round around the bike track or a positive goal, where you encourage people or students while you are running.

My goal was to get faster and get better every time I complete one round. For  fun run I enjoyed hanging around with my friends by having races and laughing at each other and with each other, I enjoyed everything about fun run practise and I definitely did not dislike anything.

Thank you for reading my blog, feel free to leave a comment.

PERIMETER AND Area

For today’s math task I had to write our name and friends on a piece of paper. I was given a sheet  and was instructed to  write my name on the top and my friend’s at the bottom.

My perimeter is 21 and the area is 12, for my friend’s name “William” perimeter is 17 and area is 11.

Monday Must do task

This is our Monday must-do task, also our word pyramids.

When we do the pyramids, we find the definition, use it in a sentence and find synonyms to the words, we usually do 6 but we had to do every single word this time. It was pretty fun and I enjoyed researching these words :).

Hope you like 😀
